Army chief hosts UK envoy

AMMAN — Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti and British Ambassador to Jordan Edward Oakden on Sunday discussed means of boosting bilateral ties that serve the best interests of both countries’ armed forces.

The meeting, held at the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF) headquarters, was attended by a number of senior JAF officers and the British military attaché to Jordan, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
