Arab Youth Philharmonic Orchestra concludes activities

AMMAN — The Arab Youth Philharmonic Orchestra concluded its 10-day workshops in collaboration with the National Music Conservatory of the King Hussein Foundation, with a concert, held at the Roman Amphitheatre downtown Amman.

Her Majesty Queen Noor Al Hussein, founder and chairperson of the King Hussein Foundation’s Board of Trustees addressed the 60 young musicians from eight Arab countries, saying: “This uplifting collaboration among young Arab talents represents an inspiring model of individual skill, mutual respect and magnificent collective achievement and harmony.

We at the King Hussein Foundation, are proud to be hosting and participating with the Arab Youth Philharmonic Orchestra because it is a marvellous reflection of the goals of our development programmes, over the past 35 years, to promote human dignity, opportunity, self-expression, community welfare and peace,” according to a statement from the foundation.
