During a meeting with KADDB Director General Maj. Gen. Mohammad Farghal, Demir voiced his country’s keenness on enhancing military cooperation with Jordan and establishing more joint defence industries, Petra reported. He also invited the KADDB's director to visit Turkey in Autumn.

Demir toured KADDB and was briefed on its industries, sections and affiliated companies, including ASELSAN Middle East, which was founded in 2012 by Jordan and Turkey and inaugurated by His Majesty King Abdullah in 2014.
