AMMAN — Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour on Monday reiterated that Jordan is serving the Gaza people by keeping diplomatic ties with Israel.
He told a press conference on Sunday that Jordan’s ambassador to Israel is there to serve the interests of Palestinian people in several ways.
Since the Israeli war on Gaza started almost a month ago, more than 180 trucks have passed the borders from Jordan to Palestine, according to the premier.
“If recalling the ambassador would alleviate the suffering of Gazans, we would do it right away. It is only a phone call away,” he said.
