King departs for Italy to attend G7 summit

AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah on Friday departed for Italy to attend the G7 summit, at the invitation of Italy Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, according to a Royal Court statement.
His Majesty is scheduled to hold a number of bilateral meetings with heads of state and delegation on the sidelines of the summit.
HRH Prince Hashemwas sworn in as Regent in the presence of Cabinet members.
