PM leads ministerial delegation at World Economic Forum in Riyadh

AMMAN — Deputising for His Majesty King Abdullah, Prime Minister Bisher Khasawneh is set to participate on Sunday in the special session of the World Economic Forum in Riyadh.
The forum, which spans two days, will engage in discussions on a variety of topics such as international cooperation, growth, and energy, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The Prime Minister on Monday will partake in a special session dedicated to discussing the war on Gaza and the efforts being made to deliver humanitarian aid to the region’s people. He is also scheduled to meet with political and economic leaders participating in the forum’s activities.
The prime Minister, leading a ministerial delegation, arrived in Riyadh on Saturday to participate in the forum’s activities. The delegation includes Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi, Minister of State for Prime Ministry Affairs Ibrahim Jazi, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Saleh Kharabsheh, Finance Minister Mohammad Al-Ississ, and Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Zeina Toukan.
Safadi is also scheduled to participate in a ministerial meeting of the Arab Group to discuss the situation in Gaza. He will also attend a meeting with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, as well as a ministerial meeting with representatives from several EU countries.
