Cabinet appoints Sameh Qasim Nasser as chairman of Civil Service Commission, appoints other executives

AMMAN — The Cabinet decided on Sunday to appoint Sameh Qasim Nasser as chairman of the Civil Service and Public Administration Commission. The appointment was based on the recommendation of the steering committee entrusted with supervising the implementation of the Council of Ministers’ decision. This decision is in relation to the human resources component of the Public Sector Modernisation Roadmap and followed the candidates’ assessment to fill the commission's leadership positions, according to a statement reported by the Jordan News Agency, Petra. The Council of Ministers also decided to appoint Bandar Abu Tayeh as executive director of the commission's Policy and Standards Development Department, Yasser Nsour as executive director of the Technical and Advisory Support Department, Mubarak Khalaileh as executive director of its Job Competencies Evaluation Department, and Shurouq Abdulghani as executive director of its Oversight and Compliance Department.
