JICRC condemns Israeli attack on Catholic Church in Gaza

By JT - Dec 19,2023 - Last updated at Dec 19,2023

AMMAN — The Jordanian Interfaith Coexistence Research Centre (JICRC) on Monday condemned the Israeli attack on the Holy Family Church in Gaza that led to the death of a woman and her daughter, and injured others by snipers. Director of JICRC Father Nabil Haddad expressed his denunciation of this “terrorist” attack that violated the sanctity of the place that provided shelter to families, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. Haddad also said that this crime reflects the “heinous war crimes” raged by the Israeli occupation that neglects all international laws and agreements, and does not take into consideration the sanctity of places of worship. The centre also called for maintaining national unity in supporting Palestinians and combating all attempts to tamper with the security and stability of the Kingdom.
