Head of Lower House Foreign Affairs Committee meets with Irish ambassador

AMMAN  — The  Israeli war on Gaza is "barbaric" and the occupation  is committing "war crimes" that will have lasting impact on civilians, head of the Lower House Foreign Affairs Committee Khaldoun Hina said on Wednesday. During a meeting with Irish Ambassador Marianne Bolger, he said that Israel’s actions would endanger the regional security and stability, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. For her part, Bolger commended efforts led by His Majesty King Abdullah to halt the Israeli aggression on Gaza which, she added, has exceeded all limits. She also underlined Ireland's position which calls for the cessation of Israeli war on Gaza and establishing an independent Palestinian state to guarantee peace and stability in the region.
