Jordanian field hospital in Gaza receives 817 patients last week — director

AMMAN — Jordan field hospital in Gaza received 163 patients, the commander of the Jordanian field hospital in Gaza Col. Thaer Al Khatib said on Sunday.
Colonel Khatib said that during the last week, the hospital dealt with 817 patients and "direct and indirect" injuries due to the bombardment of the coastal enclave, The Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Commenting on a circulated photo of one closed gate of the hospital, colonel Khatib said that this gate is out of service but the rest of the gates are open for all gazans seeking medical treatment.
He also noted that The Jordan Armed Forces – Arab Army, under Royal directives, successfully carried out the second airdrop of critical medical supplies early Sunday morning.
