JIF initiates medicines donation campaign for Palestinian hospitals

The endeavour is part of a nationwide campaign

AMMAN — The Jordanian Insurance Federation (JIF) has organised a donation campaign from insurance companies in the Kingdom to buy medicines for Palestinian hospitals through the Jordanian Hashemite Charity Organisation, in coordination with the administrations of insurance companies operating within the federation.

The campaign seeks to stand with the Palestinian people in light of the difficult conditions facing Palestinian hospitals that suffer from shortages of medicines, medical supplies and equipment, according to a JIF statement.

The endeavour is part of a nationwide campaign launched by the Jordan Television, in cooperation with various economic, social and public institutions, to enhance Palestinians’ resilience and help the injured and needy. 

The JIF campaign resulted in collecting JD100,000 from the Gulf Insurance Group-Jordan, JD100,000 from Middle East Insurance Company, JD100,000 from the Jordan Insurance Company, JD100,000 from Solidarity First Insurance and JD50,000 from Jerusalem Insurance.

The campaign also resulted in donations of JD10,000 from the United Insurance Company, Al Manara Islamic Insurance, Jordan French Insurance Company, Arab Jordanian Insurance Group, Euro Arab Insurance, National Insurance Company, the Islamic Insurance Company, Arabia Insurance Company-Jordan, Jordan International Insurance (Newton Insurance) and JIF.
