Purdue University delegation visits PSUT

AMMAN — An academic delegation from Purdue University in the US visited Princess Sumaya University for Technology (PSUT).
Wejdan Abu Elhaija, the president of PSUT, welcomed the delegation.
The visit aims to explore avenues for collaboration and formulate strategies to strengthen cooperation in academic and research partnerships fields, particularly focusing on cybersecurity, data science and artificial intelligence.
Elhaija emphasised PSUT's commitment to expanding avenues of collaboration between the two universities with the aim of creating significant partnerships that strengthen the fields of engineering, computer science and technology.
Joel Rasmus, the managing director of the Centre of Education and Research in Information Assurance and Security at Purdue University, delivered a presentation about the university, highlighting its notable accomplishments, research centres and distinctive collaborations with diverse economic sectors.
