QRTA, GEMS sign MoU to advance teaching skills

AMMAN — The Queen Rania Teacher Academy (QRTA) and “GEMS Education” group on Monday signed a three-year memorandum of understanding (MoU) at the group’s headquarters in Dubai.
The MoU aims to enhance teaching skills and educational methodologies among Arabic language teachers and Ministry of Education subjects in the United Arab Emirates across all “GEMS Education” schools, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
CEO of QRTA Osama Obeidat said that the collaboration symbolises both organisations’ efforts to prioritise teachers’ needs and work together towards achieving excellence in education.
Dino Varkey, CEO of “GEMS Education”, reiterated the goals of the MoU, highlighting that the partnership will enable teachers to access the latest educational technology and developments.
He added that the agreement demonstrates the group’s ongoing commitment to improving the quality of teaching and education across all schools, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
