AMMAN — The Ministry of Health, the Princess Taghrid Institute for Development and Training (PTI) and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) on Monday signed a memorandum of understanding agreeing to provide the ministry with medical equipment and training programmes for health personnel.
Under the memo, signed by Minister of Health Feras Al Hawari, Director-General of PTI Aghadir Jwaihan and Latter-day Saint Charities’ Director Sharon Eubank and Regional Director in Jordan Mark Johnston, the ministry will receive wheelchairs, mobility aids, training on mother and newborn care, along with a newborn resuscitation programme.
