Delegation of American universities explores cystic fibrosis care collaboration with KAUH

AMMAN — King Abdullah University Hospital's (KAUH) Director General Mohammad Al Ghazo on Sunday held a meeting with a delegation from renowned American universities, to explore opportunities for strengthening collaboration and evaluating healthcare services offered to patients with cystic fibrosis. The delegation included representatives from institutions such as Harvard, Arkansas, Utah and Ohio universities, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The visit is part of a national project supported by the Middle East Cystic Fibrosis Association (MECFA), with the aim of fostering partnerships with King Abdullah University Hospital, Prince Hamzah Hospital and Princess Rahma Teaching Hospital. During the meeting, Ghazo underscored the hospital's dedication to enhancing healthcare for individuals suffering from cystic fibrosis, saying that the ultimate goal is to transform the hospital into a comprehensive multi-specialty care centre that caters to all the needs of cystic fibrosis patients while adhering to the health guidelines established by the American Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
During their visit, the delegation had the opportunity to see the hospital's cutting-edge facilities and advanced medical equipment used for diagnosing and treating cystic fibrosis patients.
