JHCO dispatches new aid plane to Turkey

AMMAN — In implementation of Royal directives, the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organisation (JHCO), in coordination with the Foreign Ministry and the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF), has dispatched a new aid plane to Turkey.
The JHCO said that the plane was loaded with 11 tonnes of food items, health parcels and blankets to be sent to Hatay and distributed to beneficiaries affected by earthquakes, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
JHCO Secretary General Hussein Shibli said that the organisation, since the outset of the crisis, has been working on donations collected from public and private sectors, as well as from individuals to be sent to beneficiaries.
