Gov’t, Lower House to hold monthly consultative meeting

AMMAN — Prime Minister Bisher Khasawneh and Lower House Speaker Ahmad Safadi on Tuesday agreed to hold a monthly consultative meeting between the deputies and the government, in accordance with His Majesty King Abdullah’s directives, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
In a meeting attended by deputies and ministers, the two sides affirmed continuing cooperation between legislative and executive authorities to achieve national goals, stressing that fulfilling the responsibilities entrusted to the two authorities requires integration.
