Industrial production index increased by 3.31 per cent in first 11 months of 2022

AMMAN — The industrial production index by the end of November 2022 increased by 3.31 per cent to 92.70 points, compared with 89.73 points for the first 11 months of 2021, the Department of Statistics (DoS) announced on Thursday.
The manufacturing industries sector rose by 81.2 per cent, extractive industries sector went up by 6.12 per cent, while electricity production rose by 7.25 per cent.
The general index of industrial production for November 2022 increased by 1.1 per cent to 90.95 points compared with 89.96 points for the same month of 2021.
