AMMAN — The "solid" nature of Jordanian-Egyptian relations are based on mutual respect, common interests and serving Arab issues, thanks to the leadership of both countries, who are committed to building upon mutual ties in the political, economic and investment arenas, Senate President Faisal Fayez said on Wednesday. During a meeting with Egypt's Ambassador to Amman Mohammed Samir, Fayez emphasised the importance of increasing cooperation between the two countries by easing bilateral trade movements. The Baghdad Conference for Cooperation and Partnership at the Dead Sea is a “positive step” towards enhancing joint Arab action and cooperation in various fields, Fayez said. The diplomat also attached importance to the Baghdad conference and the three summits that brought together Amman, Baghdad and Cairo, calling for implementing the outcomes of these meetings.
