House speaker meets Cassation Court president

AMMAN — Lower House Speaker Ahmad Safadi on Tuesday met   with President of the Cassation Court and Judicial Council Mohammad Ghazo, members of the Council, and President of the Supreme Administrative Court (SAC)  Mahmoud Ababneh, with talks focusing on  enhancing cooperation  between the legislative and judicial branches. 

Safadi voiced the Lower House's commitment to boost cooperation with the constitutional authorities, stressing that the Chamber will not relinquish its oversight role in accordance with the constitutional frameworks to serve higher national interests.  

Ghazo expressed the Judicial Council's keenness to maintain contact with legislators to best serve public interests, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
