Bahrain monarch receives Prince Feisal

AMMAN — Bahraini King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa on Sunday received HRH Prince Feisal, president of the Jordan Olympic Committee (JOC) and member of the International Olympic Committee's executive board.

During a meeting held at the Sakhir Palace, Prince Feisal conveyed His Majesty King Abdullah’s greetings and good wishes to Bahrain’s monarch and people, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

King Hamad, during the meeting attended by HRH Crown Prince Salman Bin Hamad Al Khalifa, who is also the Deputy Supreme Commander and Prime Minister of Bahrain, also conveyed his greetings and good wishes to His Majesty King Abdullah and the Jordanian people.

During the meeting, which was also attended by Their Royal Highnesses Princess Aisha Bint Feisal and Princess Sara Bint Feisal, King Hamad voiced pride in the deep-rooted and distinguished nature of Jordanian-Bahraini relations.

Highlighting mutual keenness to bolster bilateral ties, King Hamad lauded His Majesty King Abdullah's efforts towards enhancing Jordanian-Bahraini relations, expressing appreciation for Jordan's "honourable" positions towards Bahrain and its people.

He also commended King Abdullah's role in support of joint Arab action and his efforts to serve the Arab causes.

HRH Prince Feisal’s visit to Bahrain also involves his participation in a two-day Gender Equity Seminar regarding sports, hosted by Manama.
