War Child Holland concludes ‘Join Together’ project

AMMAN — The War Child Holland office in Jordan, in partnership with the Ministry of Social Development, concluded the “Join Together” project, which sheds light on violence against children by providing psychological and educational activities and extracurricular programmes for children and their families. The project was conducted with support from the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA). Speaking at the closing ceremony, Country Director of War Child Holland Office in Jordan Mohammad Awamreh said that the project aims to enhance protections against child labour and early marriage in the local community, and was implemented over a year ago in Amman, Zarqa and Mafraq in coordination with Ministry of Social Development, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. During the ceremony, a video presentation was displayed featuring the project’s various activities.
