Huneiti meets with UN Women official, Omani military delegation

AMMAN — Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti on Thursday met with UN Women representative Nicholas Burnett. The talks covered potential partnerships in the fields of women's rights, security and peace, as well as supporting UN motions for increasing female integration into the armed forces, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Huneiti also received an Omani military delegation on Thursday, headed by President of the Omani Strategic and Defence Studies Academy Maj. Gen. Saleh Bin Yahya Bin Masoud Al Maskari. In a separate meeting, Huneiti met Fawaz Al Abd Al Haq Al Zboun, president of the Hashemite University, with the two officials exchanging academic expertise, Petra added.
