Prince Mired honours worker with Down Syndrome

AMMAN — HH Prince Mired, president of the Higher Council for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, on Sunday met with Miral Lahham, 26, who has Down Syndrome, and praised her determination to continue being an active member of society.
Prince Mired also met with Lahham’s parents. The prince followed up on Lahham's previous work at a restaurant in Amman and congratulated her on her new job at a social media company, stressing the important role that private sector institutions play in providing job opportunities to people with disabilities. Prince Mired presented Lahham with a plaque and a gift as a token of her determination and her message to respect diversity in society.
