JDZ organises field visit for GCC economic forum participants

AMMAN — The Jordan Development Zones Company (JDZ) organiased a field visit to the Free Zone at Queen Alia International Airport, including the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) delegation that is participating in the third Jordanian-Gulf Economic Communication Forum. Consisting of Qatari and UAE representatives, the guest delegation was briefed on the Kingdom's investment environment and projects, and also took a first-hand look at the opportunities available in Jordan's free zones.
The Gulf delegation is made up of Vice Chairman of Fujairah Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors Sorour Al Zuhairi and other Qatar Chamber of Commerce Board members. Director General of the Free Zones Abdel Hamid Graibeh welcomed the visiting delegation to the Free Zone at Queen Alia International Airport, praising the complementary and participatory economic role of the GCC states. The GCC delegation's field tour aims to learn about various investment success stories and experiences, including the Taj Tech Factory for technology, and the Ion Dental Orthodontics Industry, where presentations were given by the respective management, including the most important investment activities.
Members of the visiting delegation lauded Jordan's experience in the development and management of free zones, expressing their desire to develop cooperation between the Jordanian free zones and their counterparts in the GCC.
