ISTD expands base of Fawateery app users

AMMAN — The Income and Sales Tax Department (ISTD) on Thursday announced that Gazans living in Jordan who have temporary passports, as well as children of Jordanian mothers and foreign fathers, are eligible to use the Fawateery application, noting that they are required to enter their identification numbers and dates of birth.
Fawateery application, which is available on Google Play and the Apple Store, allows users to upload their invoices, including bills for medical, educational, legal, and counseling services.
Among other services, the app has the option to pay for goods, provided that the amount is no less than JD1, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Application users will be offered prizes, including devices such as phones, television screens, electronic devices, cashback opportunities, or subscriptions to services for a specified period.
