Al Aqsa imam lauds Jordan’s support for Jerusalem, Palestinians

AMMAN — Head of the Supreme Islamic Council and the Imam of Al Aqsa Mosque Sheikh Ekrima Sabri on Sunday expressed pride in the Kingdom's efforts in support of the Palestinian cause.
During a visit to the Jordan Bar Association, talks covered the Israeli occupation’s attacks against Palestinians in Jerusalem, as well as the means to strengthen the steadfastness of Jerusalemites in defending the old city's holy sites, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The Supreme Islamic Council and the Jordan Bar Association, during their meeting, agreed on signing a memorandum of understanding to support the resilience of the Palestinians and to preserve Jerusalem's identity.
