Cabinet approves number of bylaws

AMMAN — The Cabinet on Wednesday approved the bylaw for formations of ministries and government departments and units for the 2022 fiscal year.
The bylaw aims at identifying the formations of ministries, government departments and units, alongside the available vacancies, categories, titles and ranks as allocated in the 2022 laws of the general budget as well as budgets of government units, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The Council of Ministers, during the session chaired by Prime Minister Bisher Khasawneh, also approved the bylaw for the centre of pharmaceutical-agricultural research at the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army for 2022.
The Cabinet also agreed on the mandating reasons for bylaw amendments concerning the administration of hazardous items and waste for 2022. The Council of Ministers additionally approved the “national charter for artificial intelligence ethics” that will be circulated to all ministries and public departments.
