JBA, Spanish ambassador discuss business cooperation

AMMAN — Members of the Jordanian Businessmen Association (JBA) and Spanish Ambassador to Jordan Miguel de Lucas met on Wednesday to discuss economic ties, investment in promising sectors, as well as initiating the joint business council with the Confederation of Employers and Industries of Spain (CEOE). 

According to a JBA statement, cited by the Jordan News Agency, Petra, JBA President Hamdi Tabbaa highlighted the association's efforts to boost economic relations between Jordan and the world, as well as promoting investment opportunities. 

The JBA is keen on bolstering Jordanian-Spanish economic relations with the aim of serving mutual interests, he said, highlighting the advantages of the Jordanian market, notably the various trade agreements signed at the regional and international levels. 

The diplomat stressed the deep-rooted relations between the countries, emphasising the embassy's commitment to cooperation with the association.
