ACC exports stand at JD339m in first 5 months of 2022

AMMAN — The Amman Chamber of Commerce (ACC) on Sunday said that the value of certificates of origin to export goods in the first five months of 2022 increased to JD339 million, up from JD248 million in the same period of 2020.
The ACC said that the number of certificates of origin it issued in the first five months of the year reached 10,879 compared with 11,073 certificates it issued in the January-May period of 2021, the chamber said in a statement cited by the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
The ACC noted that a total of 2,269 certificates were issued for shipments exported to Saudi Arabia, with 1,508 to the UAE, 489 to Iraq and 375 to Egypt. The majority of exports went to Iraq, which accounted for JD77 million, Egypt with JD52 million, Saudi Arabia with JD31 million, the UAE with JD30 million, and India with JD27 million.
