Unregistered citizens eligible for new subsidised electricity bill — minister

AMMAN — Citizens who have not registered for the electricity subsidy on the government e-platform are still eligible for a new subsidised bill, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Saleh Kharabsheh announced on Wednesday.

He invited all eligible citizens who did not register to visit the offices of any electricity company to register on the platform to receive the amended bills, no later than June 7, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Kharabsheh had previously announced that abolishing the unsubsidised bills and issuing new subsidised bills was valid until the end of May.
