AMMAN — Health Minister Feras Al Hawari on Saturday inaugurated a project to develop and rehabilitate the Princess Basma Comprehensive Health Centre in Amman’s Ras Al Ain neighbourhood.
Hawari praised the role of the Himmitna initiative, which supervises the project, in helping the ministry realise its goals in developing several health centres and public hospitals, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The minister said that after the completion of the project, the health centre is scheduled to offer its services around the clock, which will alleviate pressure on the nearby Al Bashir Hospital.
Director of the Himmitna initiative Fadia Samara said that a plan will be prepared in cooperation with the ministry to train all personnel of the centre to improve the quality of health services offered to citizens.
