Independence Day announced holiday for private sector — Labour Ministry

AMMAN — The Ministry of Labour on Sunday said that the Prime Ministry’s circular to suspend work in all ministries, official departments and institutions on Thursday in celebration of the 76th Jordanian Independence Day includes the private sector as well.
The day falls on Wednesday, May 25, the ministry’s media spokesperson Muhammad Zyoud said in a statement to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
Working hours will end on Wednesday at 2pm to allow people to attend celebrations, which will begin at 5pm in all governorates in the Kingdom.
