AMMAN — The Foreign Ministry on Tuesday condemned the Israeli forces’ attacks on participants at the funeral of the Jerusalemite man Walid Al Sharif in occupied Jerusalem.

Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Haitham Abul Foul said that the attacks on the participants at the funeral, which resulted in several injuries  and violated the sanctity of tombs, is a rejected and condemned act, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Abul Foul also urged Israel to commit to its obligations under international law as an occupying force in East Jerusalem, calling on Israel to stop such provocative practices and halt all its violations against Palestinians.
