AMMAN — The King Abdullah II Fund for Development (KAFD), in cooperation with the “Without Borders” Foundation for Training and Human Resources Development, on Wednesday launched a project to increase youth’s political participation.

The project comes in line with the Kingdom’s belief in the importance of strengthening the political reform process led by His Majesty King Abdullah by encouraging political participation, engaging young people in programmatic parties, and supporting partisan work among university students.

According to a KAFD statement, the project aims to promote and activate political activity among the largest possible number of university students.

The statement indicated that the project targets Jordanian university students in their second and third years of study, according to specific criteria and in coordination with the administration of these universities.

The fund has launched a number of projects since the beginning of 2022 to raise community awareness of strengthening political participation and creating an environment for identifying and empowering youth leaders.
