Fayez highlights ‘solid’ Jordan-Dutch relations

AMMAN — Senate President Faisal Fayez and Ambassador of the Netherlands to Jordan Harry Verweij on Wednesday discussed means to advance Jordanian-Dutch relations in various fields.
Fayez highlighted the “solid relations” that are based on mutual respect and common interests, calling for enhancing joint investments, especially in the fields of water, agriculture and tourism, and removing obstacles that hinder economic cooperation, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Talks also went over the current regional situation, with Fayez highlighting Jordan's firm positions over various regional issues and the Kingdom’s commitment to realising regional peace.
The Dutch diplomat lauded His Majesty King Abdullah's role in maintaining regional security and stability and his efforts to resolve crises peacefully. He stressed his country's keenness to enhance relations with Jordan to serve common interests.
