Fayez meets with Italian, Spanish ambassadors over ties, region

AMMAN — Senate President Faisal Fayez on Wednesday met separately with Italian Ambassador to Jordan Luciano Bizzotti and Spanish Ambassador to Jordan Aranzazu Banon Davalos over means to develop bilateral relations with their respective countries and the latest regional developments.
During the meeting with Bizzotti, Fayez praised the level of Jordanian-Italian ties, highlighting the importance of further enhancing them in various fields, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
They also referred to the need to unify joint efforts to overcome the pandemic, and the importance of increasing Italian investments in the Kingdom.
During his meeting with Davalos, the Senate president expressed Jordan’s continuous keenness to enhance relations with Spain, mainly at the economic and commercial ties. Bizzotti and Davalos referred to Amman’s pivotal role in seeking to reach solutions to various pending issues in the Middle East.
