Jordan expresses condolences to Japan over victims of earthquake

AMMAN — Jordan on Thursday expressed condolences to the government and people of Japan over the victims of an earthquake that hit northeastern Japan late Wednesday night.
Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Haitham Abu Al Foul voiced the Kingdom’s solidarity with Japan in the face of the earthquake that claimed the lives of several people and injured others and wished the injured a speedy recovery, according to a Foreign Ministry statement.
