UJ’s Faculty of Law, Swiss NGO Tdh sign agreement on training

AMMAN – The Faculty of Law at the University of Jordan and the Terre de hommes (Tdh), a non-governmental Swiss organisation that works globally for children’s rights and protection, have signed a memorandum of understanding on training.
The agreement, signed on March 9, aims to develop a training module on the treatment of child victims and witnesses of crime, and facilitate the training of key stakeholders, including juvenile court judges, Family Protection and Juvenile Department officers, behavioural monitors at the Ministry of Social Development and Faculty of Law professors in UJ, according to a Tdh statement.
Kamal Alaween, dean of the Faculty of Law at UJ, and Thomas Evans, programmes coordinator at Tdh in Jordan, signed the agreement.
