2nd military plane carrying 75 Jordanians, Palestinians from Ukraine lands at Marka airport

AMMAN — The second military plane carrying 75 Jordanians, members of their families and several Palestinians coming from Ukraine through Romania and Hungary landed at Marka Military Airport early Thursday.
The Royal Jordanian Airforce plane, coming from Bucharest and Budapest, was dispatched upon Royal directives to evacuate Jordanians and Palestinians who crossed Ukraine’s border crossings into Romania and Hungary, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Meanwhile, the Foreign Ministry said that embassy officials on border crossings helped a total of 615 Jordanians to cross into countries bordering Ukraine including Romania, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, and Moldova until Thursday.
Jordanian nationals and members of their families are provided with all necessary assistance to ensure their safety and ease their return to the Kingdom, the ministry said, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
A total of 232 Jordanians coming from Ukraine via Budapest, Bucharest and Warsaw have arrived in the Kingdom.
