AMMAN — Al Hussein Technical University (HTU), a Crown Prince Foundation initiative, and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) on Thursday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to develop youth’s skills in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).

Under the agreement, the beneficiaries will receive an eight-month   training at the NEPCO Electricity Training Centre (ETC), including joining NEPCO technical teams for five months to get practical experience, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Since the start of its operations in Jordan in 2012, the EBRD has put some 1.5 billion euros in 61 projects across the country, including more than 535 million euros offered as loans to support the country's energy projects.
