Attempt to smuggle 1 million narcotic pills foiled at border crossing — AND

AMMAN — The Anti-Narcotics Department (AND) has foiled an attempt to smuggle one million narcotic pills hidden within a vehicle at a border crossing.
In a separate case, police arrested three individuals who hid 30,000 narcotic pills inside veterinary medicines in the Zarqa Governorate, the Public Security Department's (PSD) spokesperson said on Sunday. The people involved in the two cases were referred to the State Security Court, the spokesperson said, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
