Kingdom’s maximum electricity load reached 4,010mw on Wednesday — NEPCO

AMMAN — The National Electric Power Company (NEPCO) on Thursday said that the maximum electricity load on Wednesday night reached 4,010 megawatts, which is the highest to be recorded in the Kingdom’s history, while the day load on Wednesday stood at 3,820 mw.
NEPCO expressed its ability to face the increasing electricity demands through implementing proper operational plans and ensuring the capabilities of generating stations to accommodate the increasing demand on electricity during the current winter season, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
