Jordan strongly condemns Houthis’ hijacking of UAE-flagged ship off Yemen

AMMAN — Jordan on Monday strongly condemned the hijacking of a UAE-flagged ship by the Houthi militia off the shores of Yemen’s Al Hudaidah Governorate.
Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Haitham Abu Al Foul stressed Jordan’s strong condemnation of this terrorist act that poses a threat to the freedom of maritime movement and a blatant violation of international law.
He called for the immediate release of the ship, according to a Foreign Ministry statement.
