AMMAN — HRH Princess Ghida Talal, chairperson of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) and Centre (KHCC), and Secretary General of the Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS) Maha Al Barjas, as well as CEO of the Kuwait Finance House (KFH) Abdulwahab Al Rashoud, on Tuesday signed two agreements to cover the cost of cancer treatments for Syrian refugees and those from the Gaza Strip.

Princess Ghida expressed appreciation for Kuwait’s humanitarian stances, notably the KRCS and KFH's ongoing support for cancer patients, especially those who lack coverage for their treatment, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Kuwait’s Ambassador to Jordan Aziz Al Daihani, who attended the ceremony, said that the KHCC-Kuwaiti cooperation shows “confidence for the pioneering centre” and voiced his country's keenness to support humanitarian action.
