JBA chief, Azeri ambassador talk economic cooperation

AMMAN — Jordanian Businessmen Association (JBA) President Hamdi Tabbaa and Azerbaijan's Ambassador to Jordan’s Eldar Salimov on Saturday discussed means to develop economic relations between the two countries and further enhance cooperation between the two business communities. Tabbaa highlighted the importance of enhancing investment cooperation and benefitting from promising opportunities in both countries in sectors with added value, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The JBA president called on the Azeri business community to review the investment opportunities in the Kingdom that is considered a safe destination for investments in various economic sectors, mainly health, tourism, ICT and education. For his part, Salimov highlighted the significance of opening new cooperation aspects in the near future to further enhance commercial ties and realise joint economic benefits.
