King meets with US military officials

AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah met with Commander of US Central Command Gen. Kenneth F. McKenzie, Jr. and Commander of US Special Operations Command Gen. Richard D. Clarke.

At the meeting, held Thursday, discussions covered bolstering the strategic cooperation between Jordan and the US in the military and security fields, according to a Royal Court statement.

The meeting also covered developments in the region, as well as regional and international efforts to fight terrorism within a holistic approach.
