AMMAN — Egypt’s water security is an integral part of the pan-Arab security and Jordan highly supports Egypt and Sudan in upholding their rights, the Foreign Ministry said on Wednesday.
The ministry highlighted the importance of reaching a negotiated solution to the Renaissance Dam issue in a way that upholds all sides’ rights to the Nile water.
The ministry called for refraining from unilateral procedures and to not fill the damn without a fair agreement based on international law, according to a Foreign Ministry statement.
