House speaker meets with ambassadors of Spain, Sweden

AMMAN — Lower House Speaker Abdulmunim Oddat held two separate meetings on Wednesday with the ambassador of Spain, Aranzazo Banon Davalos, and Sweden, Alexandra Rydmark, with talks focusing on advancing joint parliamentary relations.
During his meeting with the Spanish envoy, Oddat said that regional security and stability is tied to a comprehensive solution that meets the legitimate rights of Palestinians on their national soil. Banon Davalos expressed appreciation of the Kingdom’s role in receiving refugees, voicing her country’s willingness to support Jordan in various fields.
Durint his meeting with the Swedish diplomat, Oddat emphasised the need to bolster mutual parliamentary ties and called for increased cooperation in the economic, trade and tourism fields, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
Lauding Amman’s efforts towards maintaining regional security and stability, Rydmark expressed keenness on enhancing Jordanian-Swedish cooperation in all fields.
