Irbid chambers of commerce, industry chiefs meet Bosnia ambassador

AMMAN — President of the Irbid Chamber of Commerce Muhammad Shouhah and President of the Irbid Chamber of Industry Hani Abu Hassan on Monday acquainted Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to Jordan Mato Zeko with the available investment opportunities in Irbid.
Talks also went over means to enhance commercial and industrial cooperation between the two countries, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. Discussions also considered the possibility to increase commercial exchange, where Jordanian exports to Bosnia and Herzegovina amount to $5 million, while imports are worth $11 million.
Zeko said that launching a direct flight route between the two countries would contribute to enhancing relations in all fields, including tourism, noting that that are 1,200 compatriots residing in the Kingdom. Abu Hassan referred to the geographical importance of Jordan that can act as a gateway to the region.
